Description

Delicious and moist bundt cake topped with a sweet glaze.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in milk and vanilla.
  4. Pour batter into prepared bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool slightly before transferring to a platter.
  6. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon for the glaze; drizzle over the cooled cake.
