Delicious reindeer-shaped pancakes perfect for the holidays!
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter (plus more for cooking)
- 6 mini pretzels
- 6 banana slices
- 6 chocolate chips
- 2 red candies or strawberries
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently until just mixed. Let rest.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter.
- Pour batter to make one large pancake and two small ones for each reindeer.
- Flip when bubbles form, cook until golden on both sides.
- Place large pancake on a plate as the face, small ones as ears.
- Add pretzels for antlers above the ears.
- Use banana slices and chocolate chips for eyes.
- Add a red candy or strawberry as the nose.
- Optionally, use chocolate chips to create a smile and dust with powdered sugar.
- Serve warm with syrup or your favorite toppings.
