Description

This delicious banana bread is easy to make and a great way to use ripe bananas!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, melted butter, and sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve.

  • If you like, add nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor.
