Apple Crescent Roll Ups

Description

Delicious crescent roll dough wrapped around slices of apple and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 apple (such as Fuji or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and cut into 8 slices
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Brush each triangle with melted butter and sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Place one apple slice at the wide end of each triangle. Sprinkle with chopped pecans if using.
  6. Roll up each triangle around the apple slice and place on the baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with more melted butter and sprinkle with extra cinnamon-sugar mixture if desired.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

  • Optionally, serve with vanilla ice cream or caramel sauce for added flavor.
