A hearty rigatoni pasta bake with a rich meat sauce, topped with creamy cheeses.

- 16 oz rigatoni pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Cook rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil. Cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta with meat sauce and ricotta. Mix gently.
- Transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, top with fresh basil before serving.
- Alternatively, use ground turkey for a lighter option.
