Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1 cup cherries (pitted and chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (freshly grated)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 head butter lettuce (leaves separated)

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add ground chicken to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked.
  3. Stir in chopped cherries, soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
  5. Take a lettuce leaf and spoon a portion of the chicken filling into the center.
  6. Fold the sides of the lettuce over the filling and serve immediately.
