- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup cherries (pitted and chopped)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon ginger (freshly grated)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 cup green onions (chopped)
- 1 head butter lettuce (leaves separated)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add ground chicken to the skillet, cooking until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in chopped cherries, soy sauce, sriracha, and sesame oil. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions.
- Take a lettuce leaf and spoon a portion of the chicken filling into the center.
- Fold the sides of the lettuce over the filling and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the level of sriracha according to your spice preference.
- You can add other vegetables to the filling if desired.
