Description

A delicious and creamy linguine dish featuring tender chicken pieces, garlic, and a touch of spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Cook until the chicken is golden and no longer pink, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to low. Add the remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta with the buttery sauce and chicken.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with grated Parmesan cheese on the side.

Notes

  • Feel free to adjust the level of spice by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • For added flavor, you can marinate the chicken in spices for a few hours before cooking.
