Description

Deliciously cheesy and meaty, these Philly cheesesteak sliders are perfect for parties or a family meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 14 oz shaved beef steak
  • 8 slices of provolone cheese
  • 1 green pepper (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 yellow onion (sliced into thin strips)
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 Tablespoon onion soup mix
  • Chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the sliced onions and green peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized.
  3. Add the shaved steak to the pan along with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Break the meat apart with two forks as it cooks to keep it from clumping.
  4. Cook until no longer pink, then remove from heat.
  5. Slice the sweet rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls attached as a sheet. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
  6. Evenly spread the steak and veggie mixture over the bottom buns. Lay provolone cheese slices over the top of the steak, then place the top half of the buns back on.
  7. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and dry onion soup mix. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
  8. Bake for 17-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite sides!
